Noodle Pizza

Back then when I was a child, I used to have "pizza mie" at home. The term "pizza mie" was a mixture of english and indonesian word (mie = noodle).

I always heard that making noodle pizza was easy, but I never tried it before. So these recent two weeks -in my lovely summer holiday-, I tried to make some noodle pizzas.

Making these noodle pizzas, I have to be extra careful since now I only have a toaster to work (no oven, no microwave). My first pizzas was disappointing (yet edible), it was quite black on the top but a bit raw in the middle. Then I remember to use my neighbor's fusilli-schotel-technique for my further pizzas.

Milk pudding with mango sauce

Another farewell!
Owh, I got tired with farewells.

About two weeks ago, before my friend went far far away to his home, we had our last dinner. Due to some considerations, we chose his kitchen as our victim place.

My friend cooked main dishes for us (which was great, as always). The other two of my friends brought their Mekong-weed (>> it was also GOOD, reminded me to my childhood snack, Taro).

How about me? Err... I didnt know what to offer, but at that time I'd just bought my first mango in Japan (finally!!) so I came with the idea to make a milk pudding.

Even though it turned out that I almost destroyed my friend's kitchen (I guess he regretted inviting me there =p), but the dinner itself was nice. Each of us decorated our own pudding. Which one do you like?

Surprisingly, after finishing his pudding, my friend said to me that usually he didn't like mango.
Ups! =D

Monday for washing?

Oh, I have pile of dishes waiting in my kitchen sink.
*sigh*

It reminds me to an old song from Utada Hikaru. In this video, she washed dishes the entire song. Lol. I don't understand how a famous singer could say that she enjoyed washing dishes :D

Hikki.. please come to my place, help me clean this pile of dishes..

And for you, my reader..
Here's a video of Hikari (Light) from Utada Hikaru..

Salmon steak with baked potato

I know, i know.. The title was a bit exaggerating :D

Yesterday I wanted something simple (but extra ordinary) for my lunch. I had to finish my salmon meat, so somehow I just made some random movement.
-it was random because i didn't really know what to do. i just tried to remember what my friend did with his fish-

I only gave garlic powder and salt for the fish. I wanted to give parsley, but I didnt have. (hmm... I should write it down on my shopping list)

Anyway, my salmon tasted good (its salmon after all :D), but my baked potato was a bit hard. I put mayonnaise on the top of my potato before I re-cooked it. Of course it turned out to be a good decision. My (unhealthy) baked potato tasted delicious, kekekeke.

Choco-banana smoothie!!

I decided to buy food processor because I got tired cutting meat into small pieces. It was hard to recognize this food processor because:
1. I have never seen any food processor before
2. All is written in Japanese! :D

Hawaiian Maguro Tataki Burger

When a friend of mine offered a burger party, I thought it would be just a simple work of piling up bread, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a-slice-of-dedicated-burger-meat. That's why I was a bit surprised when I saw them (him and another friend) picking up a box of minced raw meat at the supermarket.

"Eh? So we are going to make our burger meat by ourselves?"
(I asked to myself :p) Oh no :D
